Curbell Announces the Sure-Lock® Electrode Clip
Orchard Park, NY – September 19, 2005
Curbell’s Sure-Lock® Electrode Clip uses a patented mechanism that is more secure than traditional button snaps and easier to use than pinch clips. Its locking metal clamp securely locks on to both snap and tab electrodes, and ensures connection with the electrode snap and allows and 360?of motion — preventing leads from detaching from the electrode and eliminating false calls and monitoring failures due to detached clips. The Sure-Lock Electrode Clip can be applied easily with one hand, without applying excessive pressure on the electrode site — more comfortable for the patient and more ergonomic for the healthcare professional.
The unique and versatile Sure-Lock, which is only available from Curbell, can replace snap, pinch, grabber, and alligator clips, and is available on full lead sets, or in packs for use with banana and safety DIN connectors.
Curbell Electronics emerged when Curbell, Inc. was selected by General Electric in the early 1960s to fabricate and assemble complete wired remote control units for hospital televisions, commonly referred to today as “Pillow Speakers.” They then utilized their assembly experience and knowledge to build relationships with a variety of other television manufacturers, such as Zenith, RCA, and Admiral. Today, Curbell Electronics is the largest replacement manufacturer, and system and product integrator of signaling devices and other related accessories for the hospital and nursing home markets in the United States.
Serving its customers for over sixty years, Curbell, Inc. is a progressive organization driven by strong values with a proud Dun & Bradstreet credit rating of a 4A1.###
